Our office has received numerous denials on insurance claims over the past few months.
Have you gotten questionnaires through the mail from your medical insurance company asking about additional medical policies? Did you know that if you do not provide an updated “Coordination of Benefits” then your claims will get denied for coverage by your insurance?
If your account is flagged and claims denied, you will need to call the Member Services phone number (located on the back of your insurance card). This should only be a 5 minute phone call where they ask if there is any other medical insurance coverage. That’s it !!
Please note that this information has to be updated on a yearly basis for ALL MEDICAL claims to get processed. This information is not just for our office but for all other healthcare that you seek.
